Hahahahaha (the Rich bit) :-)
When I opened the link from the forum email it took me to a mint looking blue AC Cobra. Nice one Tim thought I. Then did the same in your post and realised it was your dream car Bentley! I reckon you've been knighted in the New Year Honours and not told us. Hence the Bentley for Lord Tim of Lincolnshire. Enjoy it Sir Tim and as far as I'm concerned you can park it next to my Brash and Crass Camaro at the Pod !

Thanks for the kind words, Rick. When I first saw the website of the dealers, I was impressed by the Cobra too. I thought if they could sell stuff like that, then they wouldn't mind P/X ing a Camaro. Mind you, they did have to do some quick swatting up on Autotrader, and pistonheads to come up with a value. (As always, too low for the hapless tradee). See you in March, although I will have to banish myself from parking in the rarified atmosphere of the Camaro enclosure.

You don't need to buy a Bentley if you're a Lord do you???? I'm Lord Damian Audus of Wansley Manor (Lake Windermere) but if I had to chose between my Lordship and my Camaro you can all start calling me Mr :-)

Marv, thank's very much, I've received your payment. Redleader, please mark Marv down as PAID. Shadow V8 if you're happy with it you can pay to my bank account:

Cheers,
Damian.

No m'Lord, I have been cruelly told by some of my aquaintances, that the Bentley GT is now a "ten a penny chav footballers car". Now where did I put that baseball cap?

Nah, you wouldn't want to do that. The Camaro just has that something special - it's not the fastest in the garage (top end or acceleration), it don't hold the road as good as some, it's not as exotic nor does it have that unique styling of some Italian cars, nor the class of Germany's finest, but it has character and charisma by the bucket load and without doubt the most head turning car I've owned. LOVE IT.

You're absolutely right there Rick. I wish I had the spare dosh to keep the Camaro as well. There are several cars I'd like to try before I die, but if they turn out to be crap, I could happily return to a new model Camaro SS. .

Camaro 5 UK Spring 2014 Meet Up

I noticed we have access to "our plot" from 6am. What sort of time where people thinking of arriving?

6am seems a bit extreme if the doors open to the public at 9.30
