Does anyone know if there are any rules for the events, most specifically are helmets required for drag racing? I didn't see anything mentioned.

TECHNICALLY, all NHRA rules are in effect (which means anyone faster than 13.99 needs a helmet). However, in reality, they usually don't say anything regarding helmets until you are in the low 12's or 11's. Just kind of depends on how close they are watching. I've never seen anyone get in trouble for no helmet in the mid-12's or 13's.

The tech at sgmp is......wait, there is no tech there. When I was there they never looked at my car and simply asked if I had a helmet. Very relaxed but wear the helmet for your own saftey.
