When I was 17 I bought a 68 Camaro with a 396, super fast car, paid 1250.00. Now I am 47 and driving a 2010 SS. It really just reminded me of my 68, I had to have it.

56, my car will be 5 years old in 6 weeks. I got my first Camaro when I was 17, a '68 SS 396. I paid for it myself. $1500 in 1975.

Eh, I just tell people it's a black car thing. I have to take pictures of the car when it's clean to remind myself it can be spotless occasionally.

P.S. The dust doesn't just randomly rest on my car. It makes sure to cover the whole thing. LOL

I get dust on my car too, garage or not. Texas is like that lol. I have literally washed my car, and on the drive home it had a fine layer of dust on it.

Not my style. My mom has had several 4th & 5th gen vettes so I've got some time in them, they're just not for me. They don't fit my character. I have a Z28 emblem tattooed to my left shoulder anyway, Camaros for life.

Exactly. It's literally just IN THE AIR... like everywhere... Can't beat 'em, join em! Maybe I will stop showering and blame in on the air too. "The Texas air is just so dirty, when I step out of the shower I don't stay clean! So what's the point?" Sound like a plausible excuse? I don't know... maybe I am just lazy and use a dirt road as an excuse... But I would like to think I am not, it literally never stays clean soo.

46. First was a '68 RS convertible bought in high school for $1800 from my manager at Burger King. It was a beater, but the 327 was a blast to drive. There have been others, but this is the best by far.

Hmmm - most popular on this forum with the young and middle aged. Interesting.
