Unless you are having problems, stick with it.

Here is a quick question. If I return my tune back to stock, can I use the stock belt during the winter? I have a lot of sub-zero days and I don't want to damage the supercharger. So instead of removing it, I want to see if it is possible to just not run it during the cold months. Will enough air flow go through the sc for the car to run properly?

I think it will get enough air but throttle response would suffer due to the distance. I believe some have done that when their belts snapped due to the bad bearings.

The vehicle will not run correctly unless you remove the head unit and run the stock air box, the IPF intake tube for the head unit is a larger diameter than the OE tube, therefor the MAF reading will be out of the correct range for the OE mapping. It would run and get you where you need to go in a pinch, but we wouldn't recommend driving the vehicle this way.

Forgot about that, the IPF has the MAF in a 4" tube, will run lean. You could run the IPF tune as long as you don't go into boost, but probably safe to either revert back to the stock intake or by a beater vehicle.

I live in Maryland so I have emissions every 2 years. I also just installed Stainless Works Long Tube Headers with off-road pipes, since high-flow cats are a no go with an IPF setup. But what do I do during emissions? Do I find a way to temporarily fabricate the stocks cats onto the new headers or do I buy high flow cats that I will only put on during emissions?

You could flange it so you can switch them out for emissions or leave the cat and gut them. I gutted mine and passed emissions in CT just fine.

I actually tried to start my car with the stock belt and the unit on with the stock tune. The car would not even start up it kept dying right away.
