Parking lot scrapes are the most common hit and runs, thats just human nature. People will hit your car and think nothing of it, even if you see them do it they think its no big deal.

I hate people.

Someone hit me at work several years ago. It was on the passenger side( right fender) and I didn't notice it till I walked into the garage and thought that the way the light is playing on my fender sure looks like it's dented but it's brand new so it can not be dented, just drove it to work and back.
Well it had sprinkled just a little before I got hit and they had went over and felt the dent leaving their finger smears on it. They knew they did it and moved.

Well, don't you have insurance for that kind of thing? Get an estimate and then check to see if the damage is higher than your deductible. If your driving record is clean, I don't understand what the problem is. Just get it fixed! God knows you probably pay enough insurance between you and Bonnie. May as well use it. I just got mine today and I noticed something. When I drive my wife shopping now I stay in the car...lol. Wasn't a planned thing either, it was planted in my subconscious I was NOT leaving that car. Had a nice little chuckle about that to myself, then decided anytime I'm going to the store alone I'm taking the Impala.

Who knows, it could be an accident or done purposely. When backing up with my old red Mustang, I made the mistake of not seeing a red motorcycle in the parking space directly behind me. It was literally just underneath my spoiler and the red blended perfectly with the area under my spoiler so it was invisible to me backing up. My bumper slightly touches the motorcycles tailpipe and as I pull forward, the bike falls over to its side.. The falling over caused major damage to the body. I literally waited three hours until the guy returned and called my insurance company telling them it was my fault..etc.. to get his bike fixed... This person, if they knew they hit you should have done the same, or at least leave you a note to call them back. What a shame..
