since Otterbox was brought up...My wife, my 12 yr old son, my step-mom and I all have the 6. I was in line on release day and picked up 4 of them. My son usually got our hand-me-downs and was on a 3GS for the last 2 yrs with me on a 4 and my wife and mom on 4S's. We took the easy way out and accepted the $200 apiece for the trio of 4's and therefore my son was left out of the gifting.

I got him a 6 as an early Christmas and also the understanding this is the last phone I buy you. You start work on the farm this coming summer, so you either save, or you keep what you got...and oh by the way you are now stuck with that for 2 yrs. at least.

Otterbox Defender was required on his and requested for the other 3. I would NEVER have a phone without one. I've run over my/his 3GS in a defender with a loaded 15k lb. trailer on gravel before...scratched, yes...busted NO!

3rd...I used a proclip base that snaps into the speaker on the SS dash....and with just the base I doublesided-taped the belt clip to it semi-permanently. Now I just snap in my phone into the beltclip when I enter the car making for full rotation and decent viewing angle! Pics upon request.

You know that lifeproof is owned by Otterbox now right?

No I didn't but that does not surprise me. I used Otter Box at first but prefer the Lifeproof. I've put it through the paces and it hasn't let me down. Had one on my 4s and now on my 5s.

I really like the sleekness of the lifeproof, but it doesn't have a belt clip, which I use for work (construction). If they did I would probably get one

In the past, with the 4/4s and 5/5s lifeproof did have belt clips they just weren't included with the case. They were an accessory priced at 30 dollars which is insanely high if you ask me.

Finally my Iphone 6+ shipped it will arrive late this week just in time as my Iphone 5 battery decided to die (I hope it is the battery I know mine is covered under the battery recall notice I will find out tomorrow).

My phone is currently in the air from RKSI to PNAC, then onto KSDF, and finally KMCO.

Update my phone landed in Anchorage on UPS Flight 99 it's heading to KSDF in a few hours and then finally down to the sunshine state late tomorrow and out for delivery for Thursday.
