Okay, but in the interests of keeping the facts straight:
We've seen success (so far) with angled spacers on top of straight spacers with Solos. Anyone running JBAs with this? I ask because, if the Solos need extra spacers anyway, would be best to buy the JBAs and the spacers separately and save the green. But, it is theoretically possible for the JBAs to be internally different such that this spacer combination still doesn't do the trick . . . |

Agree. If I had to do it over again knowing what I now know I would have gotten the JBAs instead of the SOLOs and saved around $200

Good info here.
1) JBAs and not Solos 2) Straight Extenders combined with angles extenders and no need for simulators Last thing to confirm is that you guys don't get hit with a CEL in a few hundred miles. Much appreciate that you folks have taken the time to help everyone else out. |

About 100 miles after an overnight battery disconnect, is when my CEL came on (with SOLO extenders only).

no problem. Reuse the EOM/GM flange gasket as they're better than the Solo gasket in either case. Regarding a tune, the only reason you would NEED a tune is to tune out the rear O2 CELs (with LTs you're definetly going to get CELs and maybe with Shortys ) OR you could add O2 extenders to either LTs or Shortys to keep from getting CELs and avoid the tune. |
