Dang A LOT of V6s coming out. I may have to consider this more than I have. Would be cool to meet so many other V6s I only read about.

I'm no stranger to drag racing, I'm just wondering what the rules are for Fest. The CamaroCross section has all the rules laid out, but I can find nothing similar for the drag racing.

Questions:
1.) Are the helmet requirements the same as CamaroCross?
2.) Does the car need to be emptied as it does for CamaroCross?
3.) Is a passenger allowed? (I'm bringing a friend and he wants to know) (If so, I'm assuming same helmet requirements for passenger?)
4.) How is the drag racing organized? Ie, when and where do I need to be?

Just confirmed my reservation after all this reading. I'll be there 8/5 - 8/9 celebrating my 54th B-day while there. Looking forward to meeting folks. Thanks Racergirl look forward to the meeting.

Here's the thread you've been missing.

1) Yes
2) No, but the less weight the faster you go.
3) No
4) You will take your car to the tech station near the staging lanes for a quick inspection. Then just get in line and race all day for 2 days. The announcer will call up special groups or races and if you are not in one of those then wait a bit until they are done and the track will return to test and tune racing and grudge matches etc.

Bracket Racing will be on Friday and maybe a ZL1 race and then Saturday the rest of the classes will run. This is like a private track rental so you will get all the runs on the track that you want and can pretty much choose the time you want to run as long as it doesn't interfere with the organized class racing listed in Post #1

LOL... 9.8 is pretty solid and the big boys like ARH will not be in attendance this year.
