Is there any age restrictions (15 yr old) would like to ride with me. This is off topic a little but what about the drag strip? We maybe bring her Camaro with us and I figured a straight line she'll be able to do. In VA she'll have had her permit for almost 6 months.

Thank you for the other answers!

I know for sure Camaro5 had the track reserved for Thursday.

I have the track reserved for Friday, contract signed, deposit mailed.
Friday's event will be open to all Camaro's and Corvette's
We haven't got everything set-up yet for people to sign-up yet.
The company that I've hired to run Friday's event is seat-time.com
It is not set-up yet on his web-site.

I have been in talks with Camaro5 members to try to offer a 2 day track event for us, but I'm not sure it will happen.
Either way Camaro5 100% has the track reserved for Thursday
My event will be on Friday 100% www.seat-time.com, it should be posted on the web-site in a couple of weeks.
If we don't combine both day's together, you'll can sign up for a single day, or both day's.
Michael
I will be there running. Should be a blast.

They definitely will not allow ride-alongs no matter the age on either the road track or drag strip. I also highly doubt the drags will allow her to drive but I could ask the question for you just in case.

Is this open to non-Camaros as well? My buddy drives a 4.6 Mustang and would like to come down with me and track it.

Yes it will be open to any type of cars, your buddy will be wanting to trade his mustang in after being on the track with a bunch of Camaro's and Corvette's. LOL

That $190 is a fantastic price! How many sessions? I'm assuming ~20 minutes per session?

For Friday's event, we haven't posted a price yet, everything should be finalized in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks

Whoops, my bad. I clicked your link and assumed that price was for the event Friday.

Anyways, do you have to run with an instructor? I have several HPD events under my belt and I think I will be taking my front passenger seat out for my trip to C5 Fest so I can fit my track wheels/tires in the car.

We will have 1 run group with instructor's Novice, it sounds like you won't be in that run group.
BTW - you need to take some pics when you load your car up.

Thank you! Please ask if it's not to much hassle, I went trough the rule book but didn't find an answer.

Thank you again... this is going to be a long 7 months!

BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES! this track is very brake dependent. if you are doing more than parade laps, you should have in high temp fluid and good pads. i wouldnt show up with dot 3 and HPS pads lol.
i have ran 12 days over there, instructed 10 days, and drove pace car for several events. i will help if needed and i might be able to round up a few more if needed. let me know because ill probably just enter and run it care free if im not needed to instruct.
most clubs, even race clubs have started the day off with parade laps. not for sight seeing but just to let everyone see the track, the elevation changes, and the 23 chances to get it wrong per lap. just for the record, its been the fast guys who try to go before they are ready. there was at least 1 6 figure car wadded up at every event. its actually a very safe track if you drive within your abilities.
this was the last high speed event i did in october. we are running track X this saturday for locals.

hey baylor make up a bunch of those stickers. you could sell em. heck, ill buy 10 myself lol.
