Probably be very easy to cover with 3m wrap. I used it on few interior pieces and it went on easy. Very easy to work with and you can stretch it all over the place with a little heat.

It's not cause by the sun. It is caused by the seam in the airbag door. The crack is in the same place and has the same look on every car. My car rarely is left out in the sun and I use a windshield/sun shade.

I’m at about 60,000 but the crack was there at 52,000 when I bought it.

while mine isnt fully cracked yet, i do have indications around the pass. airbag that it is going to crack soon.

this is disconcerting news no crack for me yet i thought we were past this. gm has been making crappy dash plastics since the 80's and still have not got it right i don't think they care to.
