looking at some of you guys order date and 2000 date and getting tpw so fast.... im happy for you guys but i really do hate the way GM does business... i mean comon... i was accepted 2000 on aug 25.... such bs sometimes....

Someone said that your post about 500 hp Mustangs was just a poser trolling, but I can validate your statement.

My brother is the president of a Mustang club here in Macomb County and you don't want to mess with his supercharged Mustang; 540-550 hp at the rear wheels...that means about 600 at the flywheel.

I have a 2SS due in Oct and I plan to "trick" the motor somewhat, but I ain't going to drop $6K-$7K under my hood. That's what it would probably cost me to run with him.
I used to drag race Chevys years ago, its the same now, as it was then; how much money are you willing to spend to go faster. The racers used to say, "How much horsepower do you want to buy"?

You can easily build your Camaro to 600+ hp, but its gonna take some cash.

Thats kinda what I was saying. Gotta compare apples to apples. Those GT500 put ya back 50k or better. The Camaro SS run ya 38k. Some one need to get a HP650 up there and round up some poneys lol

I am NMDTCK and just found out I am 3300 TPW 28Sep09. With no help from the dealer. I ordered on 2July09.

Sorry to hear about the dealer. There is lot of great information on this site as well as a lot of great people helping us out. I am not sure how you found out, but you can check the tracking thread for help on updates with status and beyond.

I ordered mine Saturday, 9/5 and a week later I was at 3000. The dealer did have an open allocation and thinks it should be here by the end of October. Let's hope so!!

That would be pretty dam sweet if we do get them built next week sometime.

Im still listening to random songs on my Ipod haven't found one that really says ( the first drive in my new baby) yet.

I was thinking about songs on the way to work this morning, can't wait to put that play list together. Some good research will go into that.

One good thing for me right now is that it is a busy time at work until Oct. 15th deadline, so the time is going by steadily.

thanks for the welcome volboy23. Yeah I have noticed that there are alot of helpful nice people on here. I really appreciate Viz helping. I have been dying to get my camaro because it has been hard to pool my family around in one car since July when your used to 2 cars. Dealer did say it could take up to 90 days before I would get the car. I researched and found this site and status codes. It was a bitter sweet find. Site is awesome but to find out it is going to take longer than 90 days sucks.

I've already picked my CD.....Tenthousand fists, Disturbed !!! Course I been playing it for two months.....you know, pretending. We are all at 3300. It would be sweet if we got them even sooner than we expected......I'm all giddy !!!!
