Seemed like an easy way to get an engine and all the components needed to run on an engine dyno, plus a couple of other ideas.

But, my Mum always did say "You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs"
BTW: I cannot swear as to the veracity of the above quote since my cooking skills are somewhat lacking.

You might want to also consider how much more torque the transmissions can handle, the 6spd manual has a torque rating of 345 ft/lbs and a stock V6 has a torque rating of 273 which would give you 72 ft/lbs of wiggle room.
I brought up this concern about the transmissions in another thread and those who responded seemed to think it wouldn`t be a problem with future mods, I myself am not to sure about the trannies.

So I`m curious to see what the torque numbers will be with Lingenfelter`s set-up and what type of transmission (auto/manual, stock/modified) they will use.

The automatic transmission and the smaller automatic rear end that comes with it.
And Graham has a sense of humor as well. Hmmm...Things must be going well.

Remember, those are the factory ratings for 100,000 mile durability under extreme driving conditions. Guys with the old T56 cars are regularly well over the stock ratings for those transmissions and rear ends and they have no issues. Rest assured, if LPE finds a weak link, they will fix it and make it stronger ;-)
