Also all the people saying charger or challenger RT, idk when they upgraded them, but the older ones are pretty easy to beat, but the new ones are a good bit faster than me. Your mods may be enough, but it might be close.

I was just at the track and saw a 2014 or so Challenger R/T run 14.5 to 14.9. Saw it run multiple times. I have a vid of my buddies 5.0 smoking it. You just never know who your up against good or bad.

I'm thinkin the g37 was, cuz those should be fast, but the genesis highway pull was just both cars in sport mode and pedals to the floor.

Whats done to the ST? I've only raced one and it was from a light. His tires went up in smoke and I left him there. Never got to try with a better launch.

True, rolls are more fun.

Cars make power at different rpms.....that's why I don't consider roll racing proof of anything. Bad launchs or missed shifts are part of the racing game. On a roll my buddies 5.0 pulls hard in 4th gear.....my l99 takes him in the 1/4 with both reactions being very close and the 60ft being close as well. If we just roll race all the time it's rather boring with the exact same outcome and car performance. I take him down low and he pulls hard up top. I find dig racing the best way to decide what's faster because it puts the car through its paces throughout the entire power band......I've done my share of both.

STs get a bad rap though because people don't know how to drive them. Everyone shifts past redline when the power band starts to die off long before that. All of the quick ST know to shift around 6,000 RPMs.
The problem with roll racing in Mexico for me is you really get into high mph in a hurry.

This was the plan with the genesis, but after 130 we were both within inches. I chickened out first right before 140, he was glad i did, cuz he stopped right then.

my dad just got a '14 fiesta st and we did a little pull the other day. it was all for fun and was from a roll, so we started at similar speeds (30ish mph), i believe he was in 1st or 2nd gear. he was keeping up with me until he shifted into 3rd and my car pulled away. the fiesta st is pretty impressive

Ive heard ppl like the fiesta st more than the focus st for the fun factor. Even tho its the slower of the 2.
