I know this thread is about my Camaro, but this is what I've been working on for the past week or so. I installed a Hellion Twin Turbo kit on my 2010 Challenger SRT-8. Everything in the kit was very well made and fit great. Tuning was done by an included Predator tuner that you read your stock tune, e mail it to Motiva Performance and they email you back the modified tune. I put my wideband in and had to tweak the A/F ratio just a bit. Easy, easy install compared to what I've been going through with the Camaro. Speaking of the Camaro, it'll be back in the shop to fix the rear lower control arm interference issues next week...

Thanks, Jeff! The Challenger's running great. The acceleration really sets you back in the seat now. You guys put out a great kit!

Adding a little more carbon fiber to the Z06. ZR1 roof is going in also...

I need to if I can ever get enough time off... So far with the Z06 I've got the roof and halo panels off to be replaced with ZR1 carbon fiber, ZR1 style flat bottom splitter, ZR1 side skirts, and ZR1 rear spoiler. Brake upgrade with different pads, stainless brake lines, and caliper pad bolts that you can actually remove more than once. The stock bolts use a 6mm allen that rounds out the holes in the bolts rendering them useless, and the new ones are a 10mm hex head.

The Camaro is finally back on the lift to correct the rear lower control arm interference issue. Spohn's answer was to use a wider spacer. Since I really don't want my tires hanging out of the wheelwells, I am going a different route. In the pics you can see where the inside if the wheel rim is contacting the control arm. In the last pic, I've drawn a line where I'll cut off the lower part of the control arm and weld a plate over the bottom. I'll show pics of the process later...

Thanks for the pics and info Frank. I have the same lower arms so guaranteed it will interfere just like yours. Please post the pics when you get the modification complete.

Thanks Again Frank.

I'm here to help! Seriously, I'm a little ticked at Spohn that they weren't any more help with this issue. I can't be the only one running wider than stock wheels. I guess it's true what they say, "There's no such thing as bolt on aftermarket parts"!

Well I definitely appreciate anything you do find out Frank !!

I have kind of a double whammy since the wheels I have are 18" and they are 12.5" wide with the maximum backspace that Doug and Scott at Forgeline could do. The tires are 345's so it is a lot of rubber. Here is what the max B.S. looks like:

Some rough cut shots... I knew I should get a plasma cutter, but I managed with my air cut-off wheel and a sawzall. You will need some 3/16" by 3" steel to patch the hole in the control arm. Should have it done tomorrow.

I might have to get a set of these for my SS! I have Forgelines on my Z06 already, and love them.
