Has anyone ever said an SS 1LE could even keep up with a Z28?
Only the ZL1 1LE can play with the Z28 and it wasn't on there list.

I guess I am happy the Camaro is doing so well.

With that said, I'm not about to run out and buy an SS 1LE. |

The 6th Gen 1LE is a great car. I like the interior of the 6th gen a little better but I like the looks of the 5th Gen Z/28 a lot better.
And the LS7 vs the LT1 is a no-brainer.

I will say that the performance of the SS 1LE and the ZL1 1LE sets a pretty high bar in my mind for what a 6th gen Z/28 should be capable of.
I expect the 6th gen Z/28 to punch well above it's class in the same way that the 5th gen Z/28 was. |

I feel there has never been a better time to be a camaro owner then right now, and i say that after owning 8 camaros over 35 years. On another note i have read the 2017 1Le ss camaro tied the lap time of the Z28 at GM's milford proving grounds. Getting back to the topic , i always felt there should have been a Z28 from the start going back to 2010. Right now i think Chevy wants to put time between the Gen 5 Z28 and the next Z28 ,, i highly doubt there will Gen 6 Z28 . |
