I worked at place where a guy stuck Harley emblems on his Honda, he was strange. Had a milk crate held on with a bungee cord to his seat too. Never forget his blue jean jacket with the large American eagle H-D patch on the back, Harley patches on the front with the H-D buttons all over it too. He rode it to a biker bar ONCE.

I think "SS" on a V6 Camaro is at worst tacky - at least misplaced. It might be justifiable if it were supercharged or TT, but in the truest sense, SS (in the case of the 2010 Camaro) means specifically "V8".

I wouldn't do it either. Not cool in my book.

Today, I'd say naaa ....

But I will also say when I was in my 20's I had a '71 Chevelle .. It was a 307ci and in very nice shape. Clean ... Well, one day someone pepped me in the rear. I took it to the shop got her fixed and painted up. Got it out of the shop and took it to get gas. As I got out of the car some guy pulls up behind me and bumps me in the rear again!! Could not believe it. Same day I got it back from the shop! Basically he left a dimple smack dab in the middle of the big crome bumper the Malibu had back then. I didn't feel like taking it back to the shop agin so I just picked up one of the Oval SS badges, drilled through the bumper and bolted it down. OK, it wasn't an SS 396, but it worked.

Funny thing is I never really got called on it, bugged or laughed at as suggested here. But it was different times.

On the other hand I did put Crager SS Wheels on it too. They were also popular back in the day. Wonder if that made a difference.

No. Just no. If you want an SS so badly, sell your LT/LS and get a SS. Don't be a poser.
