That's correct. 43lbs is base pressure at hot idle with boost reference plugged off.
1:1 boost reference both ways...more in boost and less in vacuum. just keep an eye on injector DC. good rule of thumb is 85% max.

Thanks Vic, glad to help out.
Quick (and apparently little known) trick to get around that PE issue, AND keep your long trims active. I'm the only one I've ever seen do this in a tune, but it works great to keep positive trims from adding to PE.

Fuel>Oxygen Sensors

Change LTFT Mode Boundaries, Purge off as such:
Make the 9-10 cell something lower, like maybe 58 (that's what I used), so it moves into that cell on its way to open loop. Then, even if you have positive trims, it will pass through cell 9 on it's way to open loop, which will have a different set of trims (likely 0 since you're never in there long enough for it to learn). So, the last set of trims it sees prior to open loop are 0 or close to it.

And let me tell both of you guys, these Gen V ecm's are an interesting beast. Just now getting my hands into it on the new ride, but it's pretty cool the way all of the torque stuff works. I think a lot of it is actually easier, albeit more complex. Certainly need to change your mindset from Gen III and IV ecm's.

Anyway, glad to see the build moving along, Vic!!

I think these 2 pics show it best.
that is the stance I'm going for!'looks great!!
did u just put the control arms on? what made u decide to go with 1 piece? did u get that alignment without the use of cam bolts?
I'm about to order some control arms, still debating if I should save some cash and go with 1 piece..,well if I can get a great alignment like yours it doesn't make sense to double the $ and get adjustable s if I can get away without them....hmmm

Hello,
I just installed the craddle bushings and lower contol arms. The ass end of the car was all over the road, so I went with the one piece lower control arms as BMR said they were for lowered cars.
Thanks vic!
did u originally put in adjustable control arms and the non-adjustable gave you more traction??

Did not use after market cam bolts, only the stock ones. The rear camber is limited with the one piece lower control arms, I wanted 0.5* but they could only give me 0.3*.

These are the spacers I used for the rear struts McBay Performance MP1626. I used machining blue dye and a roto burr cutter to get them to fit properly.

sorry vicster, one more question....at least until your next build/mod/dyno post.

what are your tire sizes in that pic? if your running 315's any chance you can post an ass shot?

The rest of the drive the DTC icon stayed lit up and the fuel gauge needle would go up and down, from below 3/4 (depending on how much fuel I burned) and drop straight to empty. Contacted holley awaiting a reply...
I attached a pic of the code.

I really hope I do not have to pull the holley pump back out of the fuel tank to send it in for a replacement!

Took car on a long trip it drove awesome, wife even liked how it handles and feels planted to the road! If she could tell I know it is better!

Road noise from the back of the car is loud, due to craddle bushings.

Driving tune is done, AFR is within 1% on short term fuel trims. The AEM wide band shows 2 to 3% lean, I will go with the car STFT since this is what the car uses.

So fix fuel gauge issue and dyno run are next...
I can't wait until you get it in the dyno and except the fuel gauge issue everything else felt fine though?
