maybe..
someone said there was tape over the gills in another thread
The tape in the front appears to be the same color as that panel.

Personally, I think the photo was staged, and is apart of of a very clever marketing effort for the company's making the TA kits.

It's difinately TA in orgin, as circled in "RED" I have never see in any generation of Camaro to have HONEYCOMB in GM design!

and what makes you think any of that is going to stay in production?

Nothing proves that anything is or isn't anything. However, the LACK of side gills makes me think more T/A than Z.

Why does everyone have to 'prove' everyone else wrong. At this point VERY FEW people know, and those that do will NOT say anything. There is no point in starting arguments with people over what it is or isn't. Let everyone have their opinion and keep it. No need to bash anyone else or prove them wrong.

I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O

We'll if it's the whole retro thing like GM did (following what the 1st Gen Camaro's looked like) than this could be like the 1st Gen TA's and have the scoops on the front fenders which by looking at the pic could be a possibly. I attached a couple of pictures for reference.

I don't buy that the gills aren't visible because they are taped over. What exactly is the purpose of putting tape over a prominent design feature of the production car? We've all seen the gills, there's no reason to hide them behind tape. Either the gills are there and we just don't see them because of the picture quality and lighting or the gills just aren't there, honestly it's just too hard to tell which.

I don't know of any Z 28, Camaro in the past 5 generations to ever have HONEYCOMB in the design element period by GM other the TA's!

I only know the HONEYCOMB to be a trademark of Trans AM's period, unless you can prove me wrong!

I did write, I believe this to be a stage photo, and a marketing attempt by some company that's planning to release the KITS in the near future!
If this is a GM design, they would be covering everything that would hint at design cues. This includes the way the grill looks.

If not a GM design, then I agree it's a T/A body kit.
