Great Job!
If you could hit a 1.8 60ft or better you would be mid-low 13's. Every tenth you can take out of your 60ft is good for two tenths in the 1/4. DW |

Now when someone asks me why I got the 6, I hand them the time slip (laminated of course) and then it's all good. Damn, 1.8 60ft? Out of my league but I'm hoping to get a little closer to 2.a little.

Well its already been shown that a 2.0 (or at least a very close 2.0) 60 can be done with the V6....so yes I'm betting with some sticky drags on the rear you could possibly shave even a few tenths off that run!

unless you're spinning your tires (no VHT on track)...I don't see how stickier tires is going to help out. You need some torque to get your 60' times down, so more hp/torque from the engine, shorter gears would improve torque put down, or with DR's you are decreasing your wheel diameter, that would effectively put down more torque to the ground and help out some.
my first run on stock tires with the srt challenger I had a 1.8 60', I was the first in that lane for the day, I've never driven across that much vht before in my life, the noise coming from the car was comical. The first time I ever drove across that stuff I thought I broke the car, even this time I cringed. My point is, unless you're making enough power to spin the tires on a prepped track, I don't see a need for DR's.

I bet a small shot of nitrous could get you up and out of the hole a bit better
