one sweet ride

i would love to have a special edition like this. start saving my two cents Nice to have that kind of money to buy a car like this or in some cases like the hennessey camaros, buy a brand new car, and then have all that money to mod it! And me myself, i could never get tired of that supercharger whine, so addicting

That whiney sound makes it sound like a toy RC car, I don't like it, but it looks cool

I know this as I am running a fully FORGED 427 LSX (iron block, more boost, 6 bolt heads) with an over-driven cogged TVS 2300 with a 2.8 pulley on a ten rib setup running 15psi. My blower is maxed out, with 0 slipage and 15 psi was the most we can get (compression withstanding - im at 9.4:1)
Im putting down around 750rwhp +/- with a progressive meth system - kicking on at 4psi, granted im going through a built 4l80 transmission, but still, I dont see them pushing more than 12psi through the aluminum block, while still having what sounds like a streetable cam. SO my assumption is the HP stats are bottle fed in a big way.
Dont get me wrong, the car is bad ass, but drop a forged lsx 4xx with 20+lbs of boost and you'll get closer to a 1000rwhp, without spray.

I like the way my cog sounds but it draws WAAAAY too much attention and it is just way too much power on the street, especially in a truck... here is a vid where I snapped the vette HD tensioner right off, luckily it was a 5 minute fix and there wasnt a spec of collateral damage as it dropped out the bottom of the truck - thankfully! Listen through headphones or good speakers, you can really hear the monster growl!!

BTW - it TOO is for sale, why? To buy a camaro and ridiculously build it up hahahaha...
Nice build.Any underhood pics?

I am curious to see your dynosheet as well.We made 910 rwhp and over 1000rwtq on this build. We have a dry(yes dry) nitrous system and very large injectors and fuel system.

I will post the gragh when I get a chance

Yea magnacharger...

the cog kit is on the rear drive setup - not the front serpentine belt. The tvs 2300 has two models, front drive and rear drive - the rear drive uses two pulleys - standard is a ten rib setup, you have the option of a cog drive if you plan on pushing the blower... here is mine before installation -

What do you have to do to beef up the rear end on a car with that much power? I've heard of guys SCing a car and blowing out the rear end of the car.

Those guys are going to be spending a lot of money on tires for that car!

Andy (ADM) - I was basically guesstimating your setup on the camaro, I know a lot of factors go into HP/TQ ratings - fuel and air being just one facet of a long list of factors which determine final output numbers.

I am long time friends with Brian (blownchevy) and magnacharger is only minutes from my office/garage... I do not have final dyno numbers, hence the +/- next to my posted numbers. I can tell you this, during the first preliminary pull on magnachargers dyno, the truck ramped so hard and fast that one of the metal hold downs snapped, at which drew shut the truck down immediately... at 2600 rmp at 2/3 throttle and NO tuning tweaks we hit 650ft tq and the AFR was pegged at 10.0 - - so we took her on the streets for about an hour and tuned off of the Wideband, and I am still running super rich, and no timing advance. I have a friend with almost the same set up in a suburban and he is running less boost and no methanol and he recently hit 730rwhp, so my assumption is what I stated 750rwhp+/- and my truck still needs to be tuned, I have less than 600 miles on it, and the truck just sits 95% of the time in my shop.

Sorry to thread jack too

I see this happens a lot with shops or dealerships employees taking cars for joy ride. I've seen customer's cars at drag strips getting trashed.

I just hope new prospects don't interpret this video being posted by Andy as his approval of this action.

It is not my decision what they do with the car,Looks like they were just out having fun in a car that was built to handle this kind of driving.

I just saw it and decided to post...It would never do this ,way to much liability.
