Nothing like tagging your gf while mom's in the kitchen making dinner...that'll get awkward quick.

Don't be stupid...wait on the car til' after college.

(And this is coming from a person who bought a new car at 17, a $22,000 Colorado but I put $12,000 down and paid the other $10,000 off in 9 months)
There is always the backseat.

Well, I plan on getting a Job at Blizzard Entertainment, and If I set myself a goal, than I'll do anything possibal to complete that goal, haha, So, I'm either in Collage for 6 years getting my Masters, than going to Blizzard, or I'm done with 4 years of collage and working for blizzard as an Intern. Either way, I'm in collage till I have that job, and nothing will change that.

Hell... My mom bought me a pack of condoms when I was 16 and just said, "Be safe, I'd like for you to wait till you're married...but I'm not stupid, at least make sure you're in love first." lol, and here I am, with the same girl I met just before I turned 17, a year and a half later.

I wouldn't want to get the interior of the car dirty, so that's not an option

So I'm gonna take a minute and create a plan for you...since you're obviously not gonna make the right decision for yourself.

Step 1) Get a car...for like $5,000 (you've got a good headstart with that money you've been saving.
Step 2) Go to college, doesn't matter if it's a 2 year then on to a 4 year or straight on to the 4 year.
Step 3) Graduate college (all 4 years while working and saving a down payment)
Step 4) Get a job, not some $1200/month job but a real honest to God career job that pays at least $2,000/month (EVERY MONTH) and has benefits
Step 5) Go buy a new Camaro
Step 6) Enjoy new Camaro that isn't hanging over your head for the next 6 or 7 years as a giant payment
Step 7)????
Step 8) Profit

Haha, It did kill the "Warcraft" story from the origonal Orcs vs Human game, yes, but, if you've ever read the books (Which I have NOT lol) I guess it follows the story perfectly you can't make a game with 11+ million players, and have only Orcs vs Humans, but in the books, everything was played out just like in WoW. Cataclysm, the next expansion set to realease this november, actually follows the story from the books, of an ancient dragon that was nearly killed thousands of years before, and was sealed in a tomb benieth the ocean till he regained his power, and now arising to fight once more, causes earthquakes that split the earth and dramatically changed the landscapes also reviling 2 islands from the ocean leading the horde to the goblins and the humans that were turned into wolves making the "Worgen" side back with the Alliance, all follows the story of wow, and if the story keeps following how It's supposed to, the next expansion which will probably be released in November of 2014 (Just my guess, I've heard nothing about it just following their pattern) should be more on the Emerald forest.

But, I'm actually planning on working in development for the Diablo Series, because, it just interests me more, looks like a funner game to work on... for now, WoW is just to big of a project for me.

Haha, but, yeah... that was a bit off topic lol.

zq8colorado04, I'm not being an ass hole... but, honestly, I'd rather not hear what you have to say, No offence, but, I don't need someone telling me WHAT to do with my life, giving me your opinion is one thing, but, turning around and saying "So I'm gonna take a minute and create a plan for you...since you're obviously not gonna make the right decision for yourself." is another, I did not ask for anyone to tell me how to live my life, and the others that gave their opinion, just said what they think would be smartest, which I respect, but, you, just pop in trying to tell me not to do something my way, but instead to do it your way, and one thing I really do not like, is when someone I don't know, is trying to tell me what I NEED to do with MY life.

If you're going to give your opinion, go for it, I'll all ears, but, Don't even think about trying to tell me, What YOU think that I need to do.

Again, I'm sorry that that was rude, but that's one thing that I find very annoying.

I'm 23 and back with my parents temporarily (looooong story with the moral of roommates suck....really really suck) and that's bad enough. I couldn't imagine not being able to move out because of a car.
I agree with him. To give you a better perspective, I was making close to $2,500 a month when I got my first car back in 1998 at around 20 years of age. The price was around $26,000 or so. I loved everything from it and enjoyed it up until my Life changed. (lost job due to a merger and decided to go to college instead), decided that the car wasn't worth it anymore and ended having the car repo'd. I got myself an inexpensive used car that was enough for me to finish college and grad school.

9 years fast forward, still driving crapy cars, I fixed all the stupid mistakes that I did that damaged my credit and decided that I wanted my own place and did.

3 years later, it was time for me to change cars to something better. After budgeting for over a year, I purchased the Camaro.

If you want to go to Grad School like I did (MS Computer Science @University of Florida) say goodbye to your work, personal, and healthy life. Another big reason to consider.

Man I wish I could say get it! But I can't. Sorry

Trust me on this one thing;

Leaving home and living on your own > owning any car.

I was in the same situation man, 20 myself so a bit older. I went with the 6, the 6 is already way ahead of the game when you look at other cars people are driving at our age. Don't worry about resale value, these cars will hold their value better than you would think.

Just do what I'm doing, try and get it paid off in a few years and you'll be in your lower 20s with a sick ass car. Then trade for the Z28 when it becomes financially available to you.
