psi varies with restriction...not a "Good" indicator of what is going on really.

I'm at 7.5 psi but it would drop to 5 if i put in a "blower" cam.

Dude that's a pretty sweet ride you have there.
I have found that driveability with my Whipple at 10 lbs boost is fantastic. I idles, drives and sounds like a stock GT until you mash the throttle and then it's a beast. My gas mileage is still around 20 mpg in town if I take it easy (which is hard to do). IMO Twin screw is the way to go for drivability on the street. Nice flat torque curve.
The only street skirmish I lost this summer was to a 2007 Vette sporting a magnuson S/C. Except for the slight bulge in the hood it was a total sleeper of a car.

That'd be a fun run. We should be pretty much nose to nose. Your 60 footers are a bit better than mine. My last time out my the DA was 4800 so if you correct my time to sea level it's a 11.85 at 121 mph. Granny shifting (before I installed my MGW Shifter) and only launching at 3500 rpm (I still have to install my lightweight driveshaft and loop before any crazy launches).
When the track reopens in the spring I'll get some video footage and post it.

That's a pretty impressive time your shooting for. I won't be close to that. I 'm just getting ready to put my GT away for the winter(the snow is coming) but man supercharged cars love sucking in that 34 degree air. Peace dude.
Is your local track open year round?

I'll definitely be supercharging sometime down the road, just don't know if it'll be right away or a couple years down the road. All depends on what my car will cost me up in Canada here. Probably also put in some new headers and exhaust, but definitely liking that 2300 Maggie, I'd be interested in that for sure.

CHP 2300 TVS build.

There is a great article in the Jan 09 issue of Chevy High Performance of a 2300 TVS blower on an LS1

Here are the quick and dirty details of the build.

They also did whipple (383 stroker) and Vortech (502 BB) builds.

Intercooled ProCharger System for LS3

I was just reading this about the Challenger:

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/13/p...ers-6-1l-hemi/

And then looked this up:

620+ Bolt-On HP for LS3 Corvettes

http://www.procharger.com/LS3_vette.shtml

Proven Intercooled ProCharger System for LS3 Corvettes

HO Intercooled ProCharger Tuner Kits and Complete Systems for the LS3 Corvette offer OEM appearance, fit and finish, and deliver industry leading performance and durability. This new LS3 offering produces a 40-45% hp gain with just 5-6 psi of intercooled boost. Higher boost and power levels are available for modified motors. The front facia design on the C6 Corvette allows for the use of a single, center-mounted, air-to-air intercooler system. When coupled with the high-flowing, durable and extremely efficient ProCharger, this air-to-air intercooler substantially improves overall performance and engine reliability. With a P-1SC-1 self-contained head unit and highly-efficient air-to-air intercooler system, the LS3 kit continues the legacy of ProCharger's industry leading LS1, LS2, LS6 and LS7 supercharger systems.

Yea that would be awesome. I think 450 HP would be awesome, maybe it can be done without a Supercharger?
