OMG! This thread was hilarious! What a problem to have! I want to volunteer my services to anyone else who experiences this. Use this picture. It use to scare the crap out of the recruits. I just hope it scares the crap out of your birds BEFORE they land on your car. That could be a lot of crap!

Pigeons used to stand on the wire above where we parked our motorcycles at work and sh@t on our bikes. We killed one with a .17 caliber pellet gun and left the carcass in a corner of the lot for the other pigeons to see. They stopped comming into our lot after that.

This thread has me laughing. I had the same problem with my Silverado the other year. Passenger side mirror was his favorite place too. I started folding the mirrors in so he moved to my chrome bumper. Like you I couldn't get a clear shot. Finally one day he flew up onto a wire. Crossman 760 did the trick. Later that day I found out that he was a she when my neighbor lady started yelling at me. The nest was in her tree and for 3 days those nestlings called out for food. She gave me hell for weeks. I felt bad for the babies but hey, no more bird poop eating my paint on an hourly basis. She should have been out getting worms for the younguns instead of watching herself poop in my mirror. LOL

I have a cardinal that does that. He doesn't shit quite as much as your friend and my car is in the garage 95% of the time. But that 5% is where he gets me. It doesn't crap but it flies around the mirror and dirtys it up with his feet. I think he sees himself and thinks it's another bird.
He'll do it to any vehicle that is in the driveway.
