when I used to bring my malibu to car shows, the only song I ever played was a 355 small block, 11.5 to 1 compression running race gas, singing along to the tune of a .525 solid cam through my 3 inch exhaust out at the stock locations, blowing people's pants as I idled by.....

 Though I rolled a few times with Dean due to the classic lines of the new girl. I'm more for the laid back music than heavy metal (unless I'm driving on the highway, then it's hard and fast like my driving). |

I never had any song blasting. To be honest, there was enough noise coming from the exhaust already, and I was usually deathly afraid of running over some over-stimulated 7 year old who runs across the lane to look at a car, or else of somebody driving another car not paying attention to what he's doing, because he needs top get 6" away from the car on his left, and decides to make a 56 point turn in his own show spot while looking out the passenger window
Remember- car show participants are still people with cars; just because they have nice cars doesn't make them smart or careful
