I know many people who "love" their cars and didn't buy them to get from point A to B or for gas mileage. They bought them because the car called out to them. I love my Camaro and don't resent my car payment one bit.

Yes I also have to agree with your girlfriend.I have a ABM and after last night when I stopped at a Chevrolet dealer to look at an SS with ground effects the saleswoman...yes woman was out the showroom door before I could even get the car stopped.She wanted to trade my ABM for one of the Black,White or Grey SS's that have been sitting there for months.She told me as of June 1 there were only 10 ABM still available in the country and they(the Dealer) had driven 7 hours to retrieve one for one of their customers.She said we were lucky to have one.I think I will keep mine till at least the Z28 comes out..if ever.

I don't "LOVE" $600 a month for a payment - but is it worth it?? YES YES YES.....600 for like a Cobalt or something? Hell no - then I'd be miserable too....but at least if I'm going to pay a ton I might as well have the best car ever!

I was offered $40K cash for mine and it's a 1SS/RS......I said NO WAY

It's very hard to find them. If I was the OP actually I would have tried to keep my ABM and then saved for the SS he wanted and got that too.

Sounds like your car could be quite the barganing chip, when the Z28 comes out. They might give you the Z28 for yours, straight swap + cash of course, afterall the ABM is no longer produced.
