Ok I'm pretty tire of pulling the fuses every time the car goes back down d low octane table because of bad gas. I read almost all the threat n it seems that one can by pass the trouble by tuning the car right? If so can anyone recommend a good tune shop in L.A any help would b kool.....thanx

91 reccomended
91 octane is what it needs. Anything more is just on the safe side. By the way, the fuse pull did nothing for me. I guess that's a good thing. |

Did you ever time it? Quote:
I had timed mine about 150 times before and so I had a good solid number to judge against. |

No. I need to find somewhere safe to do it. But mine was picked up from the dealership with 2 miles and my dad filled it up. So I'm sure he used 91.

0-60 as long as it's not over the speed limit and it's safe.

Hey everyone, did the fuse pull & it worked for me.
The engine is more responsive and noticed the increase in torque and power; although I did not time my car before the fuse pull I've noticed the difference it made. Thanks guys |

If not on a track, like Milk said, 0-60 mph, in a no traffic safe place is fine. As long as the speed limit says you're good. There are 3 main places I do mine. Two are 65 mph, and one is 70. The one at 70 I have to launch from the road so I have to stop. Usually no traffic. If there is someone coming behind me, I'll pull off until there isn't. Still not a perfect or ideal way to do it, but it can be a good tool becasue you can measure one run against another. Even if your timing methos is not accurate.
