Well, unfortunately I couldn't find the air regulator I have... So I just plugged it in full blast... Surprisingly (and disappointingly for me), nothing blew apart... It was leaking air out of the front left oring gasket on the bottom though... I'm headed to the coast tomorrow for the weekend, or I'd pick up a regulator and see how high I can turn the air up before it starts leaking as the gasket.

I'll pick up a regulator next week and post some real info. But so far, nothing blew apart or cracked at 80+ psi straight out of the airline.

Good to see it didn't explode. Mystery will continue on what happened to mine, wonder if our fat cat sat on it and cracked it.

This community of people never seems to disappoint. One person asks something and the next hour or so, many folks are trying, experimenting or giving feedback on a unique question. Everyone willing to help each other out. Glad to be a part of this group. THANKS to everyone who has and is helping me get faster.

Yeah, good group trying to get the V6 some respect. It is a weird place for a crack to form, doesn't look like it is a critical area for the structure. The rib beside it should have protected it from anything hitting it.

BTW, need an email response about using my transmission shift points in your tune.

Just got an email from FedEx. My regulator is out for delivery today. I should be up and running again by Monday-Tuesday and getting some 3rd gear pulls done and sent.

I found the table that is really holding your cars back, will see if I can work on it without hurting the cars. It actually looks like a safety feature if the car has too much air entering the system than what GM expects.

Right now I'm seeing if I can get your cars a true sport mode, gotta get logs for it first.

Well, there looks like a flame burn on the bottom of my aluminum intake pipe that connects to the throttle body. I don't think the intake manifold cracked from boost, it probably cracked from a backfire inside the intake. Don't see anything else and the patch works when I did a boost leak test.

Track will be opened on Sundays in November since it has been washed out lately, going to be able to get runs in with great DA. Getting the car back together still, haven't driven it in 2 weeks.

I did learn some stuff from tuning the LFX engines, will attempt it on mine to see if it helps out. There is always something to learn while tuning.

I stopped by Daddy Dave's shop yesterday. I drive by there everyday and figured I'd stop and get a recomendation from them on a good machine shop to balance my rotating assembly and resize my rods.

I walk in and talk to the two girls behind the counter(one was Dave's wife I recognized from the show) and the other turned out to be Stephanie Johnson. I didn't even know It was her until we started talking about my little project and told her I run it at thunder valley, and she was like "what color is your Camaro?" turns out she knows the car and knows my brother, aparently they went to high school together. We talked about you and your car. She was impressed with how fast these V6s are down there.

Anyways, just thought it was cool that our cars are well known at the track, and even at Daddy Dave's shop lol.
