Crappy pics but his car is exactly the same as mine (except i have nav and a brushed aluminum grill).



Other than whats already posted in my sig and what shows in the pics. One thing about mine thats different. 99% of the SN197 mustangs have that shitty black plastic around the grill and all over the front end. The Black GT/CS does not..its painted to match like a shelby. (except for the lower fascia which is straight from the Boss 302)

Looks bad ass for sure.

Planning on doing the following.
1) 1 inch lower
2) Tint Windows
3) Chang grill to black billet (like the one in the linked thread).

Possible:
1) Replace muffler with GT500 muffler (sounds better and will look good with that GT500 fascia...adds 3-4hp also)
2) Intake and Tune: Good for about 15hp and (supposedly) 60ft/tq
3) Quarter window louvers or scoop

Thats about it. The car has so much already goin for it there isnt much to mod. Im not planning on ripping out the cats or doing some OR/magna flow exhaust..i really dont drag.

It couldnt put the power to the ground. Even with 500hp it was actually a little slower then the 5.0.

Horsepower is a whisker shy of 500 at 5400 rpm, while torque is an equally impressive 490 at 3500 rpm. Even with its mammoth wheelspin problem, we still clocked 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and ran the quarter mile in 13.0 at 111.70 mph.

This was a post I took from a thread on svtp where a member just scored one of the 20 or so built.

A bit of trivia for you all. The 99 S351 had the distinction of being the worlds fastest production car. This was based on trap speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. The 99 S351 was advertised with a 122 mph trap speed. That was damn fast in 99 and still is today. I have a Dec 99 issue of MM&FF and in stock trim they ran 12.6 @ 119. They put 26x10 slicks on and dropped that to 11.5 @ 122.5. This was done with 92 octane gas and 8psi from the blower. It has a stiff suspension on it that isnt suited so much for a drag strip but makes the power to run pretty fast anyway. Saleen wanted to outdo the Viper back then and make his "most powerful production car sold in america" claim and this was the car to do it.

i know this is camaro5 aka "camaro Nation"...but i went to fast lane today in St. Charles MO...idk if anyone knows what that is but they have some amazing cars and as i was pulling in they we just firing up their new 2012 mustang Cobra jet! this thing was unbelievable!!!!! absolutely amazing! the loudest car ive ever heard and a complete Hellion!!!!! guy said it runs 9's stock. and it sounded like God was angry!!! amazing car. number 37 out of 50

Having seen how much they went for (money wise), I'm not really that impressed.....

It's kind of like buying the Ford GT....yeah they were fast....but for that price...they damn well better be..

They are factory built drag cars, they have a part number but no VIN, so they can't be registered for street use.
