That is one of the stories about where "Secret Squirrel" sprung from. That mission was in 1991.... It seems that secret squirrel has been around a lot longer than that though.

Here is the patch they wore in the mission

I have not read ALL 455 pages but I am guessing that the house has never seen THIS before now.

Ahhhh very cool.. 8th Air Force too. That's where they got the name for the Gulf War mission. I was at the awards ceremony where they gave out medals and described the mission for the 1st time. Also launched and recovered those buffs.

Just thought it was neat you came up with that patch.

They had a Japanese documentary video clip on the National news last night, showing that handsome devil...

Question: How do you shake hands with a GIANT squid?!

VERY carefully?

Got ya.

It's easier to have a level headed discussion in here so I will ask you here instead of the "other" thread. When your EPS went out could you turn the wheel at all?

I initially thought it was totally locked. Sitting still you can't move it. I only backed out about 30' straight back and straight forward into the garage. But I did try to steer a bit to see if I could. Definitely felt stiffer than a car that just loses power steering. I hope at speed it will be better but slow is a tough turn.

We are getting huge storms here so my dealership trip is delayed until Thursday.

Hmmmm that is really odd. Maybe take it to a empty lot, pull the fuse and see how it reacts?

Hopefully it's nothing major!
