Thanks for the offer!! He's back on the road - collapsed fuel line was the culprit. He should be here about 5am. This is one time I won't mind getting up at "O dark thirty"...

Baylor - Maybe if you get up to I10 you can see her pass by? Just a thought..

Looks like will have to do some driving (oh darn) first: Catalyst and Evap showed not ready on the inspection. Might try to plug in the new ODB2 adapter and use Torque to see what's going on.

Boy oh boy it's been a while since I replied on my end But still a sucker to check out this thread on almost a daily basis

Glad to hear the that Yellow Glide is back home

In dealing with false knock, it might be a good idea to try making some knock socks. Our engine builder has made some in the past with great success on L67 engines

All it is is basically Ski Rack Foam (muffles any outside noise) and PPC Alloy Tape from Bunnings Hardware (reflects Heat and sound from the Knock sensors like dynamat but doesn't melt)

I'm yet to try it on the LLT though

Torque at it's best!! Also make sure to install the Knock sensor plugin.

Could it be that simple? Lol that's the funniest thing I've read all week. That's genius.

You would make a killing if you made something to fix the "false knock issue." I might have to try something like this.. All of us FI guys are running into this. Anyone have a pic of where they are located on our LLT engines?
