Still waiting on the ported blower, but, the gaskets, etc. are in. I did order the thermal zl1 lid plates from Forced Inductions -- those are on their way!

Took the car out tonight -- beautiful night here -- car ran fantastic. Vacuum pump is awesome -- love the fact the brakes are great and continue to be after warmup. Cooling is still doing its job! Loving that.

Did top off the intercooler fluid, windshield washer fluid, checked the oil. I'll check the trans and radiator in the am -- just like to be sure things are in order ;o)

When the blower gets here, I'll do a coolant change while I'm at it (I'm in there, so no sense not doing one -- I mix my own so its not a biggie ;o).

Radiator is almost due -- will be later in the year. I'll do the radiator @ the next fluid change (oil, trans, diff). That is when I'll do the rockers, C.H.E's, Springs, etc, and finally the LSA valve covers. Should put the upper valve train in great order!

Getting excited and can't wait for the blower.

Yep, won't see it until sometime in April, looks solid!

I have basically 10 coolers (not counting the heater core). This will make 11. Don't think I need a diff cooler ;op

Stock -- this is an LS3/L99 so no UD or overdrive -- since this is 'one' belt that is used for all accessories...

If I had the LSA accessories also, then, no problem...

Jokerz Blower Install Part 1!

So, started the disassembly (of course, bag-n-tag and journal the disassembly):

Removed the connectors, brake booster hoses, coil packs, and noted where everything is:

I'll need to get the vac out and clean the area of the lower manifold to remove all the debris so nothing gets into the intake ports.

More to come...

I'll show that when I get to that point....

Don I'm consfused sorry, if I don't have a strutbar can I use the 2 pre existing holes down there to mount tank????

The reservoir needs to be the highest point in the coolant system. If they are higher and you have the right bolts, yes, but make sure they allow the reservoir to be higher...
