Anyone in Arizona, or the southwest for that matter...

Just picked up an '11 LS Black/ Black, with Manual Transmission at Sands Chevrolet in Glendale AZ, paid significantly under Invoice (plus rebates). Salespeople were Abel Lozano and Art Cervantes, they were extremely knowledgable, have personally owned F-bodies of various generations, and didn't try to push models, options, or colors I didn't want. Deal was done quickly and without any hassle. Pretty good selection on site, and willing to get whatever I wanted.

Anyone in the market, they (and Sands) are definately worth a look, (602)299-5233; abellozano65@yahoo.com.

I checked other dealers in the area, many were still at MSRP or above...

Is this a good deal?

I'm looking for a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS A6 IBM w/gray leather interior. Being quoted $37,172 + tax, tag, and dealer fee. Is this a good deal? According to the dealer it is $500 over invoice and will have to be ordered.

Thanks,

RJ

FYI, this vehicle was built using USAA Bank. If you have an account with them, you go to the website, build a car you want, get instant garaunteed pricing, confirm you want the car, USAA does the rest and you go pick it up with no hassles. You do not even talk to the salesman. You go straight to the finance office and pickup keys. If you would like me to build a particular Camaro w/options for you so you know what the fair price is PM me, Id be glad to help.

The car below is a 2011 2SS Auto w/rally stripes.

paid $600 over invoice -- not a bad deal. They made money, I spent less. They only made the deal because it was the end of the month! (yes, I got the $1K loyalty money as well)

Either way, I'm a CAMARO OWNER NOW! *yay me*

Now where to start!!

Wow, great deal

Makes me wish I was a USAA customer. Looks like I'll be putting an order in a few weeks. Can't wait. I've got pictures on my computer, office, bedroom, phone. Good thing I'm not obsessing or anything

Hi guys i need help with EXTRA HASTE!! Im currently in the process of buying a 2011 Camaro 2SS. Im in the Army and deployed (in Taji Iraq as we speak) so obviously i'm trying to use the GM Military Discount (AND USAA 750 incentive). Unfortunately for me im not able to talk face to face the car dealerships so i have got mixed answers on how much the discount is. One delearships said 500 (i know its BS) another quoted me @ 2000 below MSRP. So in that aspect, how much did you pay for your 2011 Camaro (or '10) 2SS w/ the GMMD? the quicker the better!!! I'm scheduled to return home in about 1 month. So im looking @ getting one built, which i have been told takes about 4 weeks. which is around the time im getting home. God knows it would be wonderful to see my wife, 6 month old baby girl AND my Camaro when i touchdown. THANKS IN ADVANCE... PM me

TrainJeff24,

Talk to Becky!
BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet

She is awesome. I didn't by my 2011 IOM Camaro Vert from her but I had problems with one local dealer and found this forum. She coached me through the whole process eventhough I ended up buying from a different local dealer that she felt would work with me. I wanted to use my GM supplier discount and the first dealer wouldn't allow it. Becky honors all discounts.
I can't believe that other dealer tried to give you a hard time.

That is awful, especially given the fact that you are protecting our freedom! :flag2: Get home safe to your wife, baby and that new Camaro!

I've been shopping for a 5th gen for a couple of months now. Being a credit union member (any credit union) will get you preferred pricing. Being a Sam's Club or Costco member and using their buyer services will get you about the same discount. GM loyalty rebate will get your another $1000 off the price if you own any 1999 or newer GM vehicle.

Best semi-local prices I found so far was through the True Car web site. Two dealers at $2481 below MSRP on a 2SS/RS with auto & stripes + the $1000 GM loyalty rebate. $38,100 MSRP - $34,618 + tax and tag. So that's a total of $3481 (9%) below the MSRP.

Dealer and Credit Union are both at 3.19% financing up to 60 months.

Thanks for the link for True Cars.com great site! Nice how it compares a couple other brand models similiar to what you are looking at for comparisons.
