I just read another thread and someone stated they might add another NASCAR race in September. We could have our own C5 meet sooner than expected. I got my bags packed, and gas in the tank

Lots of great points about east & west coast being too far to drive for various folks. And I've seen the comments about wanting to keep it to one event per year.

So, seems like middle of the country is the way to go.

My vote would be DALLAS, TX. Should be close enough for most of us all across the country!!

I live in the South Central so any where would be good for me, I think it should be centralized so everybody would have an equal chance to make it. There needs to have lots of motels/hotels, campgrounds and RV parks with a road course and a drag strip.

Now, how about a date for the Fest?? Gotta secure vacation time soooon, please.. Pretty please with sugar on top?? I know, in a couple weeks.

My daughter is getting married in April and I know it is just going to fall on the same d#$% weekend. If not, I'll probably fly and rent a car and/or be someone's willing co-pilot (or designated driver) if it's west of Kansas.
