It does feel a little like a golf cart. Lol. It actually can set you back in your seat. 100% torque at 0 mph. Nothing like driving a Prius. If the Volt looked like the concept Volt and was all electric, I probably would have one right now. Yeah, this is her commuter car.

Well, there's Shane.

Road Atlanta Camaro Corral

OK, finally have the information (at least initial) on the Car Corral on 4/19/13 - 4/20/13. I am going to try and start a separate post and if I am successful, I will have Joe attach the flyer.

There are actually two races on Saturday. The first is Continental Series and the second is the Rolex Series.

Road Atlanta is offering a $ 65.00 super ticket (Friday & Saturday) which includes private parking for our club in the infield, access to covered seating area in between fan activities, and a lap (I'll push for laps) around the track. The ticket includes access to the entire track and the paddock area. They are also offering $ 55.00 for Saturday only.

I have an e-mail into the contact person at Road Atlanta to reserve our spot.

I am working separately with Grand Am to try and secure a meet and greet with a Camaro race team (s).

Depending on interest, I am going to try and put together a cruise and dinner on Friday, as well as something else that should be interesting.

As soon as I speak with Road Atlanta, I will be asking someone to put up a sign up list, so be on the look out for that.

This will be a something you don't want to miss, so stay tuned.

But for a 2 year lease and after federal ($7500 towards car) and Georgia ($5000 tax credit), the payments will be $100 per month and add in about $40-$50 for electricity, and we're still saving $50 per month just on the gas ($200 per month). That leaves the lease costing nothing, and $50 in my pocket at the end of the month. We were paying almost $700 per month on the Highlander on a 0% loan, plus $200 for gas. How could anyone pass that up as a second car? We still have my Silverado for road trips. Ugly car though.
Hmmmm

Question for those affected by the Georgia Clean Air Laws.... Anyone have long tubes in one of the affected counties and not have cats on their car? I know it only affects the 2010 guys so far since the 3 most recent years are not even checked, but mine being a 2011, it will be out of the window next year.

Trying to decide if I want cats or not on the new LT headers. Thoughts?

Not for sure, but I think if you don't have a CEL, that you will be ok on the emissions! But that's just my thinkings on what I have read! I think! Lol! Guess I'm not making any since!

The code says they are supposed to visually inspect the cats, which bothers me. Why it is only for part of the state is BS.

Better question is how does Jenna feel about it? Guess it's all about the Benjamins
