Back in action! Dash replaced and no bubble of course! (yet....)

The technician made a small cut/nick in the plastic part of my dash. Doesn't bother me enough to take it back. I have an almost identical cut in my passenger door panel from within the first week of owning my camaro, hahaha

I'm just ecstatic to have my camaro back!!!

If they don't, they're damn well giving me a loaner camaro to take up to the fest, or I'll tear down that whole dealership!!! Even a loaner would piss me off, I want MY camaro back!

And people wonder why I wont even let a performance shop touch my car.... Cause I can't stand other people touching/working on my camaro!!!!

Nobody but me will treat it the way I want it treated.

Oh and I bet money one of the techs has scraped/bottomed it out since its wayyyy lower than any other camaro they drive.

:(
I'm sorry to hear about your frustration with your service length at the dealership. If you would like to private message me with your name, number, address, VIN, mileage, and involved dealership I'd be happy to follow these repairs for you.

Thank you!

and MOST IMPORTANTLY!! Where did you get the stripes from!! Or did you have the dealer do it?

Thanks guys!

Hightower, glad to see you got your car back. Have fun at Cfest. Maybe next year, I'll be there too.

Only did one side like the Corvette Grand Sport. Did not want to do both since it reminds me of Dodge. Just my preference. I just recently removed them from the fender and will replace them with ones that go over the fender and stop at the hood seam. It completes the look better to me.

I did the work myself and the new stripes I ordered will be of thicker material to better match the actual 45th stripes.

It is great that you have your vehicle back! If you would like us to look into the little cut issue you are having now from the dealership, we can contact them about it if you would like. I would need your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage, and involved dealership.

Has anyone found a vinyl supplier that can exactly match the red of our factory stripes?

Brandon,

I'm headed to C5fest now but when I get a chance I will definitely be contacting you about that.

It's hard to tell cause it's just a cell phone picture, but I found a second nick/cut above the first one. Needless to say that changed my mind and I will be having the dealer fix my dash. I would appreciate your help on the matter here in the near future.

Thanks Brandon,
Chip
