Info I found so far on Whitehouse OLF:
From RiverCity Performance: I talked to the airfield manager from NAS JAX he basically handles all the flight ops scheduling for NAS JAX and OLF Whitehouse. He told me currently there are 2 local car club chapters that use the runway regularly and offered these options. Our first option is to contact one of the other car club offiliates and possibly piggy back on by attending one of their scheduled events. Second option is to gain our own access. I was referred to the legal department for the Navy on NAS JAX. It seems to be pretty easy as long as we meet a few requirements. 1. The organization requesting access (River City Performance) must have some sort of liability insurance. They will not grant access to individuals meaning we cant copy our insurance cards and go we are covered. This is because River City Permormance as a group would be granted access then sponsoring its members to the event. 2. A formal letter requesting access would have to be submitted on behalf of the club. Detailing our plans and exactly what we want the runway for. A description basically. The person I spoke to said to make this as professional as possible. It goes to the Commanding Officer to be signed. 3. Once we get the approval we pick a date for the event and submit it. Also once we get approval it is good for 6 months and we can use the runway as many times in that period as long as it doesn't interfere with flight ops and military operations etc. So basically we could go every few weekends if we wanted just pick a date and turn it in. That's pretty much it. Being new and not yet a member I don't know if the club has any type of liability insurance etc. If it does this is very easy and I am willing to initiate the process and get it going. Let me know what we can do. Also, I have seen that there are only solo runs (meaning no racing).

I'll sign up even if I have to pay, keep me posted.....in the mean time, who would be interested in going to Valdosta?? I am bias because I can't run at Gainesville, I would get kicked out....not a bad idea if we all go as a group, I'm sure it would be fun!

But I'd like to get access to a local field if possible too. On another note. I know the C.O. of NAS JAX. I used to work for him. He's a pretty reasonable guy. So as long as it's professional we shouldn't have a problem. Especially if we can show that the organizers have some understanding of how military facilites and flight ops, in particular, work. Which we do.

Thank You Steeleshark2 and GTAHVIT,
Rivercityperformance is on board, as Steeleshark2 posted already, we had already checked into using Whitehouse but as you know it is only solo runs and personally I like the idea of running together also. Lets see if we can't find a place which will allow us to run together.

also here is a lil more info on whitehouse posted by one of our guys.
You would not have to provide EMS, at least it's not required. You do have to have a port-a-let if you are going to make an all day out of it. There was a Corvette club there a week or so ago and they just had one dropped off for the weekend and then picked up. The fire station there is manned during the week and JFRD has access through the gate so in the event of, simply dial 911. Also not to sound like a prude, but you need to be cautious of who you sponser on because you don't want the acts of one to ruin it for the group. Also if anyone would like to see the field and runway let me know, you can come out when I'm working and we can check it out. 1 The runway is concrete, 150ft wide and 8000ft (about 1 1/2 mile) long. 2 Would have to be solo runs, the Navy will not allow us to race. 3 We would have to supply our own cones or whatever for marking the length etc. 4 Obvious safety precautions would have to be maintained (seatbelts, must have a DL and insurance). I can almost 100% guarante there will be liability waivers that will need to be signed (drive at your own risk type of thing).
