I've seen that, the Gretchen aux. fuel system. You should do that with Nitrous! I have no interest in doing all the nozzles/plumbing myself though. Too big of a liability issue for me to want to mess with it. I could supply an aluminum spacer though if you wanted to do it. |

Finally tested the system, this thing sprays a ton of meth at full power, don't know if I will flood the engine now. I have a progressive controller though so I do have some control.
All 6 ports, Cylinder #3 didn't have the correct pattern so I'm fixing that now, had just a very small debris in the way. Close up of one of the ports. |

That is why I said, " I'll blame it all on Derrick." :-)

Don't think I'm ever going to get my car back together, it took less time to install the torque converter. Mock fitting pipes, moving stuff, boost leak tests, and I still need to tune idle to at least get the car driveable. Really sucks because the weather here is great, high 60's which is perfect sunroof temp.

I feel your pain. I haven't driven my car in over two months.

I'm curious about setting up a Port Injection setup in my manifold now with a ZL1 pump, be like the FR-S. Might have to research it and see what parts would be needed. |

If you think that meth setup won't end up working out, If you don't run an engine cover, I have an Lfx intake with one of the arms that holds the cover on is broke off of. I can't use it for a ported intake core, if you want it, it's yours just pay for shipping.

I think the meth setup will work but I don't like the thought of using meth as a big fuel source. Will have to see how it works out, who knows, might make the car so fast I run 9's. |

I also finally got the car back together, now I have to tune it but I am using the tune in had before when I was in the same setup. 15 PSI should be good. |

Took the Camaro for a quick drive today for the first time with the new setup, I have a ton of work to do. Looks like I'm at 8 PSI at 5300, about 1.5 more PSI of boost over the 3.33" pulley. Didn't go further than that.

Got on it a little more today, fuel trims are off by quite a bit but last time I ran a blow-thru setup it was with the 3.48" pulley. Car was pulling very hard at just 5k rpm and I have 5 degrees of timing removed for safety right now.
Unfortunately the stiffer spring in the bypass valve is making the supercharger chirp while cruising at 2k rpm, will have to switch back to the softer spring. Right now my idle is perfect, it doesn't move around, see if it comes back after I switch the springs. Also looking at using 2 dry nitrous nozzles on each side of the manifold to provide extra fuel. The LNF guys have been using a 5th injector for using fuel but the have room for that. |

Took it to 6900 rpm, got to 14 PSI. I can probably hit 15 if I went to 7200 but I don't think the LLT likes spinning that high. Right now the lambda was 0.95, very lean but not destructive lean for short bursts. I can still add some more fuel on the top end, but not much more before I hit misfires.
The 2.25 scanner finally takes inputs so I was able to see what my fuel pump pressure was, 50 psi. 5th injector looks like a go. Should be interesting doing this, but it's fun pushing the limits of the LLT. |
