yay! in detroit...on the same train as mike since we have been recieving the same updates. eta in palms bay florida (wherever that is) is the 20th. kinda far :(

I'm sitting at interchange in valley junction illinois. Just over the border from st louis missouri. Its only a four and a half hour drive from there to topeka, kansas. Just get it here already. I've been there since the 8th. Come to me.

Did everybody leave oshawa on CSX and then move to UP in the states somewhere? I was loaded on my car and released on thursday, but don't have any updates since then. Just curious if I should try the UP line.

that's what mine did, transferred to UP in Indiana. So I now track it on UP instead of CSX phone line. Currently mine is in New Mexico making it's way to california. It left toronto on the 4th so it's making decent progress but got stuck in indiana for a bit while switching trains. My final train ETA is in mira loma CA on 12th at 2 AM, then I guess it gets on a truck for a fairly short trip to dealer. Mira loma is closer to my house than the dealer too bad I can't just pick it up there.

Mine left on CSX, and when you listen to the "make-up-city-names" guy he'll say some initials. At first he said IHB. So, I was able to track it via the web on IHB's site. Then, using CSX, he said it was on "U" "P". Once I heard that I was able to use the Union Pacific number. That's the only time I've gotten an ETA.

Mine left on CSX on car SSW 080756. It was transferred this morning in Yard Central, IL (near Chicago) to Union Pacific. The train departed at 9:27AM. UP says it is scheduled to arrive in Mira Loma, CA on 10/19 at 4:46AM.
I am guessing that it will then wait until there are enough cars to fill a truck before heading up the coast.
It is interesting that mine will take a week longer than JohnInSoCal's will to reach Mira Loma. It is taking a very different route it seems.
No worries, I'm anxious, but really didn't expect anything before December when I placed my order.

Thanks Nessa! Hope your on the way as well. We just got back from the dealership where they had an ABM V6 RS w/ sunroof on the floor, and it was so awesome to get to sit in it! I got my Camaro fix and I think I can make it to delivery now, which will hopefully be next week!

My guess is that it is sitting in the rail yard waiting to load up. Did you ever get a rail car number? If you have already gone through that part then you could be at the end rail yard. Some more information might help.

I just called the automated CSX system again and it has an update. I arrived at the Toronto yard last night at 9:20 pm, so it moved at least some. I guess I am like sooner and got close to the border, but will most likely be sitting for the holiday weekend. At least I know it is out of Oshawa. Yes!!!
