I'm working with Lim now, I'm sending him a video of showing my issues, because his first round of suggestions didn't work, some of its the language barrier im sure. example he thinks I'm using wifi via usb, I have a hotspot.

Its all clear in the video so I'm sure we will get this fixed soon, he was quick to answer me.

I have all my issues resolved. it seems somehow the setting for andriod changed and my sound only for andriod was turned off? I never made these changes just a random act i guess. Also i cleared the cache for the apps that were causing the internet to disconnect and now there is no problem with staying connected to the internet.

bnorman thanks for the files, i have them if i ever do need them.

I'm going ahead and getting a usb camera for the from and a usb bluetooth and obdii. i'm going to give torque a try.

Has anyone figured out a way to have the outside temp show with this unit? That is the only thing I miss about the factory system.

i asked lim about the temp, he say it works but i haven't figured it out either.

Can anybody tell me if the steering wheel button works for initiating a call? Somebody here said it doesn't work, but I don't remember anybody complaining about that.

Steering wheel doesnt initiate call for me either. On a side note, my radio presets got fixed. Had to download the Russian upgrade. Nice thing is all the upgrades were in it, so I did not have to do a separate upgrade for the OBD.

Also, Lim said "Hi , please use the Russia software first for upgrade and download the latest software .

After you need to go to factory setting , login 0000 and then go to Canbus setting to select hices in orderr for camaro Canbus work for those air conditional . Temperature still Celsius , once done F will give upgrade software .

Go to shipping setting to select external Igo as the software upgrade is for Russia map .
Then use the sdcard given which is Igo map external sdcard and then it will work "

Now I am going to ask specifically about the Farenheit reading although I still don't have any temperature showing on mine.

I believe Lim thinks we are talking about the Celsius showing up on the air conditioning. I don't think he is understanding that we are asking about the outside temperature. I had asked him about it once and his response only addressed the air conditioner.

And the steering wheel does not initiate calls. Have to do that on the touch screen. This system would not be my pick if you are counting on making or receiving a lot of calls in the car. I would want one of the other BT hands free units. I hate talking on the phone so it covers me when I need it.
