He just posted results, looks good. Like I said this will happen later as I plan to do it myself and want it to get a little warmer as it sounds like it could turn into a PITA. I also want to see results people are getting with going the ported intake, insulator, heads route. If it shows real good results then I will have a garage do the work.

I like that idea, but I am not sure how it works with my wife.

Ran into a few problems with the catch can today. I was installing it when the two bolts wouldn't seat into the catch can handle. When they painted the can they painted the threads too. I took the can to my dads place and had him re-tap so now the bolts fit. I also went to auto zone to get more tubing because the L99 has a lot more plumbing to it than the LS3. I am thinking that the tubing JDP Motor Sports gave us in transmission line, but Auto Zone was out so they cut me some high temperature power steering line hose. I will hopefully install it tomorrow.

Does anyone know who owns the Summit White Synergy Edition with the high wing spoiler and red stripes here in town? I spotted it off of 100 turning onto Edgewood this morning. Pretty car...looks like the buyer checked EVERY box on the car.

Are they catching those that just slow down for the fix mounted speed camera's, then speed up with-in the gap of them?? Nice then about my Escort radar detector, is that it is GPS enabled, and all these camera's are "voice announced" When I drove the Camaro to Dallas, that sucker was doing alot of announcing! LOL

I know I just saw a Summit White with high wing spoiler at my dads work about 5 days ago. It didn't have any stripes on it at the time. The one I saw had painted GFX.

Just got my RX installed today and damn! Disconnecting the stock tubes was a pain in my @$$! The dirty line was easy since I had a lot of room to work with, but the clean side sucked! I was disconnecting all sorts of sensors just so I could get my hands in there and pull on a tab to disconnect it. Had to use an allen wrench to get in there and pull the tab.

Tim:

You may be called upon to help with my RX install since you are such a pro. How'd the wash go?

rberns:
The car I saw today turned into the business park off Edgewood where Toyota Motor Credit is located...your dad work over near there? The car was all white, high wing spoiler and painted GFX. Good looking Camaro...with IOM or Red stripes.

I had the same issue the first time.

Since then I've removed/re-installed it a few times-now I could do it blind folded and fast-without removing anything but the engine cover.

Test the suction to ensure it's working correctly and that the drain tube plug is closed.

Enjoy your new insurance toy.
How do I check the suction to ensure its working correctly? Thanks for saying something about the drain tube, forgot to zip tie it down. Dont want that to hit the belt.

My wife said she saw the same camaro today too. Also saw a black camaro on 380 today when we went out to dinner. My dad works at Pat McGraths...Dodge Country at the collision department.
