i believe 3 three vettes were all 50muscle people. george, micah, and rex. i don't believe there were any serious injuries but it would be best to ask them. i think rex was actually excited about it because it gives him a reason to get the rear widebody kit for his vette. lol.

Autocross at the Stadium on Sunday! I believe Ron's cruise night in on Saturday, anyone going?

Plan to run the 5th Gen in fun runs at the end of the day. Open to passengers if you have any interest!

I might go to Rons on Saturday depending if Lynda is off work. Havent been to a Rons event as of yet.

Try Fast Lube. I just met the owner as he was a main sponsor of our events this weekend. Seemed like a really nice up and up guy. He owns 5 I believe with one in Kapolei.

For future reference to anybody needing paintwork done, RPMS in Kailua did an outstanding job on my Camaro.

It had gotten keyed two days after it was driven off the lot. 6 foot scratch down the right side, 7 foot down the left, and the safety inspection sticker was completely scraped off. Ended up being $3500 damage in total... after RPMS was done, there was no evidence of my misfortune remaining. Their work and customer service was outstanding.

Wow, just found out that I dont need to take apart my Vossen wheels. I ordered for oem size wheel (20x8 front and 20x9 rear) and just found out my wheelset is 20x9.5 front and 20x11 rear). Guess I dont need to order the inner hoop for my rear wheel to fit a 315 size tire. Just checked Pirelli and they show $495 per tire in 315 size. Guess they worked out a deal with chevy for the camaro since oem sized Pirelli tires are around $250 each. I still have about another year of thread life before I have to replace my current tires. I might even move the rear tire to the front since it should fit with no problems.

Car show this weekend in Hawaii Kai. I have another function at the same time so not sure which one I will be able to make.

Been checking on the Bondurant driving school since I will be on the mainland for extra fun after the NHRA event in Las Vegas. Wish I had the time and funds to go. Maybe add to my bucket list fo next year.

My car is back at ServCo getting the A/C fixed... yet again, no telling when I'll get it back. I've never made it out to any of the cruises, and I would like to at least once prior to me leaving island...

I just got some QTP cut-outs delivered today that I plan on getting installed when I get my car back. Does anybody have any good suggestions as to where I can get it done. Exhaust Systems Hawaii said they would do the welding and all that, but they made it clear that they would not touch the wiring. I could probably do the wiring myself, but I'm not 100% confident with it, and I want it to be done correctly. I was thinking about having them go ahead and do it, and see if I can possibly get the guys at Car Tunes in Kailua to do the wiring. Anybody have a better suggestion?

Great car show at Hawaii Kai! Lots of cars, but also had a 1 minute reving of the engines at 8pm. Wow, was that loud! I think Rex had the loudest car with his black camaro. Pretty cool seeing everyone in their cars reving it up!

My wife and I are from Texas and we vacationed in Maui last year; I love Hawaii. We were on a tour and after it was over, this young couple Colorado told the tour guide...."We love your country"....I just wanted to lean over and smack them.
