Where are the pics from the fbody summit?

I may bring my 76 to Saturday's Max & Erma's meet, maybe with something new I hope to receive this week. Maybe jrhaus76 can tell me how I would have faired compared to the other 2nd gen Camaros at the f-body summit.
I am not going to the plant, too far. I will say there were a lot of really nice second gens there. You would have fit right in on day one. There was the 74 LT with 4600 miles, right next to it was a MINT 75 LT. I am assuming your 76 LT would have fit the mold! I am sorry but as usual I didn't take many pics. I am so bad at that. I am bringing my 89 to Max and Ermas. The 2010 went to shop 1 today to have the front bumper fixed. As soon as that is done, it is going to the dealers shop to have the peeling paint on the rear bumper fixed. So my 2010 Camaro will have both bumpers repainted. :( I hope they look as new!

We will see what time she is due in on Friday, the whole KMart thing may work out. I may need someone to drive the SS to the show and set the bow on it with camcorder ready. Any takers? We will see.

I am so excited to get her home. I was able to get the personalized plate ordered today... so my handle will be changing on the forum to "1 RD JEWL". This has two meanings, the obvious is the color of the car, and secondly is that I consider my wife "one red jewel". (She's a red head-)
YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR NAME! Just ask a MOD. You will keep everything, just a new name.

I doubt I can go to KMart this week, I would love to help you out.

Anyone heard of this in tip city?

Gill Decals

Well, I put the Gill decals on today. I like how they look from a distance but not sure if I will leave them on since I can see the line of the decal. I went to the GM paint shop to see if they could paint them in and Air brush the faded look to it. They said no matter what I do I will see a line.

I will take a few pictures tomorrow and post them for all too see. I really like how it looks from a few feet away.

On a different note, as I was standing there drying the SS , after numerous interruptions from neighbors, lawn workers, and moments to pause and just stand and admire her ... Along came a rock at a high rate of speed. Hit the car, bounced up and then landed on the top of the SS. I looked down and a scratch/chip.

I had just told the lawn dudes I was going to put her away and they were cutting the neighbors grass and weed eating and along came the rock. He must have been 40 feet away or more.

See for yourself.

Still planning on it unless she gets in real late on Friday. I should have a pretty good idea of a time tomorrow. I can't wait for everyone to meet her.

I found the following website with lots of pictures from various cruise-ins and car shows in Ohio including the Beavercreek K-Mart cruise-in, the Tipp City car show, the Trans Am Nationals and the West Chester cruise-in among many many others.

Don't beat yourself up over it. It is going to happen! I have one stone chip in the front facia and Kris wants to have it fixed... umm NO. As soon as I do, I am sure another one will appear. I thought about the clear bra but she vetoed that too. I guess I can't win!

Merlin's first chip is also on the roof and was from a flying clod of crap off a truck. Got that one when I went to the BMV for the plates :-(

Just don't point it out and she'll never know - until she details the car for the first time... :-)

And yes, I do have a lot of clear bra/Xpel on Merlin - but I didn't cover the whole car like some folks do. Just enough so I don't cringe every time a vehicle goes by me.

And I think RS_Man is busy this weekend. He's picked up a second job but I'll let him know - even if it's just to torture him a tad (mean, mean mom!)
