I have that power issue some. It usually only happens for me when I put the key in and turn it all the way to start the car. If I turn turn the key to the power position, pause, then start the car it doesn't seem to do it.

Once it does it have the problem, I have to turn the key off, remove the key and open the door. Then start over.

There are quirks with this system. After using it, I won't go back to the stock radio. The benefits I get from it far outweigh the little issues it has for me.

If you use your phone a lot in the car, this is probably not the best fit for you. For my quick "I am on my way call" this system works fine. If I was actually trying to do business calls from the car, it wouldn't be my choice.

Just had the power issue lol. Take key out, open door, reinsert key and try again..

I got the outside temp to show. Had to use launcher pro for my launcher and widgets for torque.

And my DVDs sometimes get stuck the cd slot isn't perfectly aligned

haven't checked in this thread in a while. did Lim(right name?) fix the bugs that everyone was having, along with the shoddy fitment? i may be in the market for one of these soon

From what it sounds like, the fitment and most bugs have been fixed. Not sure of how many newer units have been purchased, but the one guy who did said the fitment was fixed.

I am not sure about the bluetooth, seems like it is still hit and miss. It might very well be my settings or my phone. When I call using the unit some people can hear me some say it is like I am in a tunnel. Torque and OBDII bluetooth upgrade is installed now on new units.

Thats all I can add based on my interaction in here.

Still having issues with the Bluetooth. I have the iPhone 6 and 5s. They both connect as a phone but it won't connect to the car dvd connection for some reason. I've tried everything I can think of. It worked for a bit I could make calls and stream music then all of a sudden nada.

The other issue I'm trying to fix is with the modem. I bought a data plan with T-Mobile to use with the modem Lim sent. I can't get it to register. Not sure if there is something special I have to do or not. It's inserted right but not able to search for carriers or anything under the data section. Thinking may just have to do a hotspot. Has anyone tried this and had it work successfully? I can do a hotspot from my phone but was trying to do something more permanent
