I had 290,000km on my Grand Prix, you'll get some good mileage out of that Gand Am

... My plates are good until the end of November, so first salt, or end of month for me :(

I need some assistance guys...
My father's 98 maxima is not starting - at all.
The ignition or starter is not even turning.
The battery is good.
The radio doesnt work at all, even though it does show the station.

Before this issue, my father says the alarm went off, n he couldnt shut it off (with key), so he pulled the battery. Since then it doesnt start.
We believe the issue is that the alarm system in the car.

Anyone have any ideas what we can try? Or what might be needed to be done to fix this?
We're hoping to avoid towing plus labour.. etc.

Maybe Bob, steph, or rick(s), might have any idea?
