doubt I'm going, if there will be. I've already booked a condo in Destin for a week, and I'm probably going to California for a week or so later in the summer. I'll be broke lol

A lot of people are going to Holley Fest. I can't go. Nor would I stand a chance there

Isn't Holley fest in September this year?

For those who may or may not be following my header thread. They are on but since my plug wires are right in the header, I'm not going to drive the car until the wire sleeves or Holley wires come in

Yeah I saw that you had that slight issue with the wires. Did you notice any difference or did you only fire it up for a short amount of time before the wire started burning?

I put a thick piece of rubber over the wire. I fired it up for a short time and the I also went for a 5 mile drive. That wire started smoking and melting during the short drive. My KR is gone, probably from the new plugs I put in. The car doesn't seem to pull harder up top for the little I drove it but it feels like it has more mid range and feels more torquey than before. Almost like the feeling it had when I first put the Bo White PTB on. Maybe it will feel a little better when I actually can drive it and get the exhaust leak fixed.

Sound wise its smoother and more crisp, I couldn't hear any sort of rasp like when I just had the HFCs on.

As for weight, the stock manifolds I weighted at 32.6 LBS/manifold. The blackhearts I weighted at 16.2 LBS/manifold. A 33lb weight loss is improvement in performance right there.

Sounds like they're pretty good then. That's a decent amount of weight gone from the front of the car as well. When do the new wires/boots come in?

Wires I think Wednesday or Thursday. The sleeves come today.
