Nah, it's actually quite docile. I got 27.5mpg on my 450 mile trip to Atlanta and back on Monday, too.

P.S. It still has the stock supercharger in place, too.

The Camaro guys are crying with relief they paid less and got a better looking car

I think its inevitable, every Mustang thread on here turns into Mustang vs Camaro. Its just so much fun.

Sounds like wishful Fanboy-ism to me. U remind me of this guy I kno named ASSRUTHERFORD...
The GT500 was nose heavy and undertired, that is corrected with the 11 performance package, and you do realize 2 seconds is an eternity, right? If you are in a 50 lap race, the GT500 could lap the ss on a lot of shorter courses....... And it's not fanboyism, it physics, power to weight, suspension geometry, gearing, etc, etc, etc........

Wow... 20 years ago I was driving pretty much that exact car. A 1981 Dodge Colt -- it was even the same color as the one you posted. I think the only difference between them was the badge.

Mine had the 4-speed manual with "twin stick" (effectively an 8-speed if you were willing to do a lot of rowing), and the "MCA Jet" engine

Believe it or not, it was a very fun car to drive. I think it weighed about 1500 lbs, and had manual steering, brakes, windows, etc.

Now back to the topic at hand. Kudos to those Ford guys for achieving 300+ horses and 31 mpg. That's sweating the details!
