Quick question... after installing lowering springs is it MANDATORY to get an alignment? Shop is telling me it's a must??? What's the deal guys? If I can install springs without an alignment that would save me about $300.

Yes you need an alignment....but$300 is ridiculous. Call gran turismo east in chamblee...they did mine. It was about $75-$80

Just did a google search to see what I could come up with. Boy there was a lot of negative feedback all over multiple forums. I mean I know your going to see stuff like that, but man it was a lot.

I would have to say hps is out of business. I'm in such a quandary from his shenanigans it's not even funny. I have had my car two months out of the last year. I'm so over this now I'm ready to move on to something else. If anyone is gonna do any performance mods I would stick with the big boys. And what's ashame if he would have ran his business right he had so much interest.

I was just thinking "Wish Ryan would chime in" lol. So what is the latest with your car. He didn't just give it back to you in parts did he?

We did see Rob & Amanda and their NEW orange/gold Boss 302 Laguna Seca. Rob traded in the red 302. They said that they'll be joining us at Stone Mountain this year.
WHAT? No parking after 7:10? I think it's time for a new (larger) location!

Yes, you need an alignment. If you don't get one you will need a new set of tires + an aligment. I had my alignment done @ R. Hendricks for about $110.

Oh......and make sure you/they time the bushings. Mine was done at my request with alignment.

Read below.

Are you planning on coming to the Road Atlanta event? The reason I ask is that Maxie Price Chevrolet has just started a performance/aftermarket department, and the guy who runs it and the SLP Rep are both coming to the Corral. He is working on putting together some specials, which might include some pretty good deals at their Service Department. I have had really good service from them on all my cars, including an alignment on the camaro.
