I want to be there, but we have a cruise booked on the 28th of April going thru Panama Canal and South America. It would be so close for us in Vegas. I did not want to miss the C5 ll Fest.

And the east cost is out for a lot out in California. And anywhere down south is pretty much out for Canadians while up north is too far for people in Texas and Florida. There simply a perfect location thats 6 hours away for everyone. First was out east, next is out west, then probably a central location after that.

I definitely think a central location will be better for all involved, maybe I am wrong but I do not think the turn out this year will be as good as last, hopefully it will be a big success and I mean that sincerely.

A pretty central location will allow EVERYONE a better opportunity to attend. I understand the point of this year, even Vegas might be a little more doable for some.

It just seems to me that alot of vendors are more centrally and easternly located, whic helps them as well as a better option for most.

SGMP was great, people were friendly, about 8 hr drive for me personally but still ok 1 day there 1 day back, ,but the older I get, LOL the harder 3 and 4 day trips are not to mention having enough vacation time to be able to attend, which I am sure is a concern for many of our wonderful members. Especailly since school will still be in. Just sayin

Camaro5 TEAM,

Thank you for hosting a great event down South. I look forward to being part of many more in the future. If I can't make an event due to location I'll watch from a distance and wait for the event to cycle closer to me and still say -- THANK YOU FOR HOSTING A GREAT EVENT.

btw, I'll be most happy if you want to host it in my driveway so I can sleep in my own bed and walk to the event in my robe.

Everyone,

Anyone that is willing to do all the work required for an event of this scale is entitled to hold it anywhere they want. Maybe we should cut Camaro5 some slack in this thread?

It is time we give these guys a break and our support as the decision has been made. The QB calls the play and we all run the same play or fail. This is no different. They need your support. Who is going to volunteer to help them? I have 'volunteered' as a sponsor and if they need more than money from me they know where to reach me.

That's why I was unable to attend last year. Couldn't get the required time off and it was too far of a trip to do without taking a week of vacation. Would have required approx. 7 days worth of driving round trip. That was figuring on 10 hours a day. My knees and back can't take any more than that. I would have been more than willing to make the trip if my vacation time would have been approved.
