We will be going to the Glen for the first run, but not to the Go Carts. We are planning to go down to the Motor Racing Research Center in town instead, then head home from there. The Research Center guys have been helping me find information on my GrandMother's brother, who was into racing back when it first came to Watkins Glen and was a corner worker / Deputy Director of Race Communications. In 1965 the '90 was dedicated as Northrup's Corner in his honor. That was the third Glen circuit, the stone was removed when the course was redesigned in the '70's.

Flash, I'm trying to think if I know him or might have some photos, but nothing is ringing a bell. Was he still active in RCA in the late 70's and early 80's? If you already have a photo of him, from that time, let me know. Might be something for my father to do, looking thru all those photographs again. My family worked at the track from 76 to 96. Good Luck!
