So the TPS has their own valve stems on these rims. I didn't realize that. The rear passanger side TPS stem, which is in the back of the rim, was rubbing against the brake line, slightly. I noticed right away. So they put a shorter TPS guage in. Good to go. Then, on the way home, bam, "service tire pressure system". Darn it, I was gonna pick up the stock rims tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be a big deal.
Very nice Dan!

Nope. Ran all night against my brother but never made it to the sand trap...not sure who you think I am.

A lady backed into me at a bank. I have been out of commission for the past couple of days due to my Series 65 exam I had to take yesterday...here are a few pics of the damage. Not too happy and had a long talk with Allstate and Hendrick body shop:

whoa man lol... not a single one of those was directed at you... well just the fact that your car is at our body shop.

the idiot is me when i was confusing southern's comforts new 1le with yours at the track a few weeks ago.

the guy in the sandtrap was originally thought to be gafool on here but was corrected to be a mustang.

Hope you get your car back soon! it looks great in person minus the quarter ding... which we'll take care of that. and sorry for the confusion.

What I've learned about Tire Pressure Monitor System

Anyone looking to buy new rims, check to see if the TPS has a stem at the back of the rim. If so, there is a possibility that the stem will clip the brake line. If you find yourself in this situation, there is an alternative. The TPS can be strapped around the inside of the rim. Thus, the smallest valve stem made can be put in place to fill the hole. So far my "strap-ons" are working...pause for lol...and I'm not hearing the valves clip the brake lines.

I also learnd there's a tool the tire shops have that can reset the TPS. They just hold it close to the TPS, then the horn sounded and the lights flashed. The TPS was reset...hmmm...cool. I'm sure there's a way I could have reset it, but I didn't have to look into that.

Nice! ... have been looking myself and I'm having a hard time just trying to pick a new set. I've found websites online that can kind of show you what the car might look like with a choice of wheels ... but, just isn't the same as seeing them on the car lol. Leaning towards a matte black or black satin finish ... choices, choices

Check out this link, if you haven't already. I spent a lot of time here. Different wheels on the Camaro. I should post here soon. I don't think anyone had these wheels at this link. I also used www.carid.com as a resource. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53913 Good luck!

Yea I checked out carid.com and tirerack.com ... also found another online app to view wheels on a camaro. Helps, but, they always look quite diff on the actual car lol. Have been looking at these though ... would like to compare with something in a complete matte though .. add in some drop springs too. What kind did you put in? Was looking at pfadt.

I have pfadt drop springs and they look great. A little stiffer ride.

Pfadt springs and sways here too.. Pretty stiff ride. The rear sway bar is extremely beefy as compared to the stock bar, but it does have 3 different settings. I'm sure these 22's will reduce it even further.. LoL
